St John's Wood Synagogue, The S&P Sephardi Community, Anshei Shalom and Saatchi Synagogues together with Naima JPS are delighted to invite you to join us in #keepingittogether with Jews across the world through Shabbat UK

The fantastic programme of events include:

London Challah Make - at Brent Cross  - Join thousands of men, women and children at the biggest Challah Make the UK has ever seen.

Thursday 22 October
Coaches leave from SJWS
Meet at SJWS at 5:30pm to recieve your tickets, collect your t shirts if you order one and board the coaches (Challah Bake 7-9pm)

Friday Night - Special Friday night candle lighting and synagoogue service at St Johns Wood Synagogue including an address by the Emeritus Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks and a performance by the popular singer and rapper Ari Lesser 

This will be followed by a Soup Sushi & Scotch Kiddush (A first course rather than a full meal)  at St Johns Wood Synagogue 

Friday 23rd October 

Candle lighting and Services 5:30pm 

Soup, Sushi & Scotch Appetizers 6:30pm 

Shabbat Morning 

Shabbat services and Childrens Services followed by a Hot Cholent Kiddush in each of the synagogues.
 
Following the Kiddush we are delighted to welcome

Shabbat afternoon programme for all ages - All our communities Rabbi's, Rebbetzins and Youth directors will be involved in organising Shiurim, activities and events all afternoon at St John's Wood Synagogue. There will be something for everyone culminating in a communal Havdalah service at the end of Shabbat.
